Term Ends With Choir on Form
The choir performed 11 Christmas Carols which they had managed to learn in three
weeks at the annual carol concert last Wednesday, and their singing was a great
way to end the term and create the Christmas spirit. Thank you to all concerned
with the nativity play and concert.
Everyone enjoyed the performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at
the Playhouse on Tuesday and it was a fitting end of term treat for the pupils
who have worked very hard this term. The Christmas party was also excellent
and we were delighted to be able to present the cheque for over £1000
to Martin Patterson from St George’s Crypt.
The choir also went to entertain the elderly residents at Neville House on Thursday
morning which went down very well.
Now everyone can take a well earned break. I hope everyone has a very peaceful
Christmas and Happy New Year.
We return on Monday 7th January.

Christmas Treat
The theatre visit to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was a great success.
The set was enchanting and the characters convincingly portrayed.
The heroes being Santa Claus and Aslan of course, the drama of the battle between
good and evil was played out with great energy and carried the audience with
it.
This was a great reminder to us all that behind the play of good and evil there
is a greater force which will overcome in the end if followed.
Thank you Mitch Simms for stepping in at the last minute to accompany us with
two members of staff away ill. It was good to have your support.
Best wishes to you all. Thank you for your support this year. May 2008 bring
peace and understanding.
